Solavei and The Lane. What *IS* All This Business About The Lane?

The Lane. Kind of mysterious, right?

Actually it’s easy. Let me explain.

Solavei is in prelaunch mode. The official launch won’t be until later in September. However, you can get in pre-launch via an invitation to 'The Lane.'  The Lane is a preregistration site to secure your position prior to launch. So if you request an invite from me, I’ll submit your name and email and you’ll get an invite from me via The Lane.

Once you get your invite email, you’ll be prompted to watch an introductory video with Solavei’s CEO, Ryan Wuerch. The video is 42 minutes long. The first 5 mins are a little slow, so keep on watching and you’ll be pleased you did. Ryan reviews/shows screen shots of the Solavei Community mobile app, the B of A debit card, the welcome package and other specifics that you won’t want to miss. If you've already seen the video, or have all the info you need, feel free to accept the invite from your referral person.

Once you accept, you can invite anyone YOU please. (Note that accepting an invite into The Lane does not mean there is an obligation to register for Solavei cell service. Accepting an invite into The Lane is an indication of interest on your part.)

And a helpful hint: When filling out your info in The Lane, be sure and complete all fields, otherwise the Captcha form will keep on asking you to decode the letters. (technology!)

On the 23rd of August, The Lane will be frozen and everyone who has accepted an invite will be given an opportunity to officially register for the Solavei service ahead of everyone else. The idea here is to get in The Lane before August 23 so you have the chance to get into Solavei before the National Go Live Date of September 21, 2012. Otherwise you have to come in with the rest of the millions of Members. Get in now so you can ALWAYS SAY, “I got involved with Solavei during the pre-launch, before they ever went Live as a company.”

When The Lane freezes and you are sent a registration email, that’s when you decide for sure whether to enroll. This would also be the time that you finalize your Solavei phone selection (if any).

Think how cool you’ll feel when you get your Solavei phone or SIM card at the beginning of September, when the company hasn’t even launched yet! So what you waiting for? You can’t lose!

You should get voice, text, and data at up to 3G/4G speeds (depending on phone and network availability).  Functional Phones will not have access to the Solavei mobile application, and members will need to access the Solavei Community by website using a browser.

Usable Phones

Usable unlocked GSM phones do not provide our members with the exceptional experience we strive for. You should get voice, text, and data at slower (2G/EDGE) speeds (depending on phone and network availability).  Usable Phones will not have access to the Solavei mobile application and members will need to access the Solavei Community by website using a browser.

The following are examples of ‘Functional’ phones:

• iPhone (GSM only)

• Sony Ericsson Xperia
• Samsung Galaxy

Not Supported

Are there any phones that are not supported?
These phones and tablets will not work with Solavei Mobile Service and cannot be used on our network.

 Examples of ‘Not Supported’ Phones:

• CDMA and iDEN phones from carriers like Verizon, Sprint or boost
• Blackberries
• Tablets, iPads

BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone)

Step 1:

Check your phone

Follow this simple process to see if your phone will work on the Solavei mobile network.

• Get your IMEI number
• Type *#06# into your phone to get your phone IMEI – just as if you were making a phone call
• If no number appears – your phone is not compatible
• Enter your IMEI into the Prequalify Your Phone tool. (During the Solavei Mobile Service enrollment process)
• Response will let you know if your phone is compatible with the Solavei service.

Step 2:  
Complete Sign-up Process

• Solavei Mobile service provides 4G Nationwide Unlimited Voice, Text and Data for $49 a month.  For details of the mobile service plan see <<link coming soon>>
• Purchase your Solavei SIM Card for $29 and pay your one-time Membership Enrollment Fee of $49.

Step 3:
Receive your SIM Card

We’ll send you the appropriate ready-to-use SIM card for your device in the mail. Then follow the easy steps provided in the sign-up confirmation email.

What do I need to sign up?
